• To clean: begin by separating pieces. Twist off the lid,then the spout. Pull straw out from the spout. There is a key mechanism in the middle of
  the lid made to align precisely with the spout
  for a perfect seal every time. Twist and pull
  this key mechanism hard to remove. Take out the gasket around the key mechanism and the ring gasket around the spout piece. Remove the carry loop before washing. They key mechanism, spout, both gaskets, and straw can all be placed in the utensil case of the dishwasher.
