Wash before using. Lid is top-rack dishwasher safe. Hand washing the cup is recommended to preserve its finish. Do not use harsh chemicals (such as bleach, abrasives, etc.)

parts can be removed for cleaning.

The stainless-steel bottles should never be microwaved. And unless you want to end up on one of those “fail videos” on YouTube, we recommend you follow our advice.

Eastman Tritan™ Plastic
While the plastics used in Owala™ brand products are BPA- and phthalate-free, microwaving is strongly discouraged. Like, very strongly discouraged. The leak-proof seal can allow pressure to build up inside the bottle when heating, causing the lid or flip cap to open unexpectedly and spray contents.
So…just don’t go there.
Stainless Steel
The lids are top-rack dishwasher safe, and the straws can go in the silverware bin. The cups are also technically dishwasher safe as well, but we strongly recommend you hand-wash them to maintain that beautiful finish.

All parts are top-rack dishwasher Safe.

Owala review

Nice tumbler but owala letters in the bottle removed easily after 2 washes.

Not amazing but looks great

I was excited and ready to love this tumbler. It looks great but doesn’t feel great sipping and I can kinda taste the plastic/silicone. Have to sip quite hard and bite the straw a bit for a small amount of water to come out. I’m an adult, I imagine this is too hard to sip for toddlers. I’ve the aesthetic of the tumbler though.

Finally a bottle that doesn’t leak!

We bought one of these tumblers for each of our children, aged 1 to 4 years, and they all love them. They're easy to drink from and completely leak-proof, no matter if they're upside down, sideways, or left in a bag for a week. Best tumbler ever!

Adequate but not great

It does the job, doesn’t leak which is great. Disappointing that after only a couple of weeks use the lid is stained and the branding has worn off.
